Passion & Dedication

Hi all! I’m Amy, a 20-something year old, pursuing my passion for photography. What I love most is, photographing families and children in their natural environment, such as, at the beach, a local park or even the family home. This helps me capture images that are personal, priceless moments, during special occasions or between children and families.

In addition to this I love photographing weddings! There is always so much raw emotion floating around, that I just love to capture it on camera. A lot of planning goes into weddings, so I make it my mission to document all those little details. This way the happy couple have a collection of photos to look back on and reminisce about their perfect day.

I am based in the north east of England but am open to travel to your chosen destination. During my spare time I’m either out with my camera taking photographs of anything that captures my interest or looking at something

photography related, on the computer or in a book. I have to say; black and white documentary photography is definitely my favourite. It portrays the most beautiful, simple unguarded moments, that tell a story and capture the element of art in each skilfully filled shot.

As well as photography I also enjoy travelling – another one of my true passions in life – I have been lucky enough to travel Europe and the USA within the past couple of years and this has provided me with some picture perfect opportunities. Then there’s not forgetting that all-important time I love spending with my nearest and dearest.

Creativity Has No

A day in the life photographs are probably my all time favourite! Kirsten Lewis, a documentary family photographer, who is based in Denver Colorado is my favourite photographer and biggest inspiration. She has motivated me to become the best photographer I can be. Which is why I am now pursuing “A day in the life sessions”.

Honestly, these sessions are probably the most nerve-racking at first but as the day unfolds it will be the easiest photo shoot you’ve ever done!

There’s no posing and saying “cheese”, all you have to do is be yourself and go about your daily routine while I spend the day snapping away documenting your family life. It’s my job to capture all those precious moments between families that may be missed during the chaos of day to day life.
